Everyday Joe Ministry

I’m in North Carolina so getting stuck behind a Chicken Truck is nothing new to us. And I realize they have to get them to market somehow. After all a form President once said, he wanted to put a chicken in every pot. Well if you find yourself behind a Chicken truck I want you to notice the chickens. Packed in the little cages on their way to get ready for the pot. They look just like they did on the farm. They don’t have a clue what is just around the bend. See for them everything is just passing by, no thought of tomorrow.

I looked around at the people in the cars and on the streets. Guess what I noticed. They are just like the chickens. In their on little world, giving no thought what tomorrow may bring. No interest in their future. No thought of eternity. Just clucking along.

The Chicken has eyes, but he can’t see what is in his future. He has ears, but don’t know the sounds of the times. People are the same way. Eyes but can’t see the signs of Jesus Christ’s return. They have Ears but can’t hear the cry from our Heavenly Father to Please except His Son. People say “yea yea I have heard all that before but nothing has changed”. The Chicken says “cluck cluck just the same as every day before, eat drink and poo”. In the Last Days they will be eating, drinking, and marring each other. They will go to work just like every day before. Then in a Time when you don’t think it could happen, Jesus calls us home. If you are not looking for him you WILL be left behind.

You know a chicken does what God put it here to do. It is food for us and it does that vary well. But God put us here to have a personal relationship with him. He loves us so much that He sent His Only Son to pay the price for our sin. Jesus did that on the cross at Calvary. He went to the slaughter in our place. Open your eyes and see, listen and hear the words of God. REPENT and ask Jesus to come into your heart. Realize He is God and He loves you, so you can have that Relationship with Him forever. DON’T BE JUST ANOTHER DUMB BIRD!
