Where Do You Stand?

Romans 1: 24, Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25, Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26, For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27, And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28, And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29, Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32, Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Where do you Stand?

Common idea today is live and let live. What the next person wants to do is ok with me. Unless, of course it’s not politically correct or you’re not “woke” enough.

People Say “I think they have a right to do whatever they want to do”. They consider themselves entitled.
Warning to the Church, we need to be very careful when we say we hate the sin but love the sinner. I am not saying that is wrong. We just need to make sure we are not excusing the sin for the sinner. Paul in 1 Corinthians 13 gives us some of the best scripture on Love in the Bible. We are to Love. Without love I am nothing. (verse 2).

Anyone at all is welcome to God’s church. It’s not my church, I’m just a part of the church it’s God’s Church. I would be grateful for anyone, no matter how vile or disgusting they may seem, to come to church. The rapist, murder, and molester is welcome to come to a meeting where I may be preaching. Sinner come as you are. BUT you should not leave the same way. We are instructed to preach the Gospel to ALL the world. We are also instructed not to accept the evil of man.

My desire is to see people come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. The Greatest thing that can happen in a person’s life is to be saved through Jesus. He is the only one that can save. The next greatest thing, I think, that can happen in a preacher’s life is to see other people saved. However we have to be careful what we excuse.

I think you would have to agree that LOVE being preached these days is not the problem.
But where do you stand when it comes to the sin? I love our God given right for Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. But this freedom is not the freedom to behave any way we want to. Sin may seem good for a while but after that is judgment. Not my rules, God’s rules.

How many times have we heard “it’s ok to tell a little lie every once in a while. You know, if it don’t hurt anyone or it gets me what I need or want”.

Let me set the Christian community on fire for just a moment.

The biggest sin in the United States today is NOT Homosexuality. The Biggest Sin, is that we can’t even talk against the LBGYTQUZ, or whatever all there is now days. At the same time, it will get you fired to talk about Jesus on your job. Our children cannot pray in school. A teacher cannot teach Creation in school but has to teach the THEORY of evolution.

My concern is that trying to be “inclusive” now days, we are making concession for sin. It is NOT alright if my neighbor wants to cheat on his wife. It is NOT alright for us to use any excuse to Riot in the streets and to Steal, Kill and Destroy. A court verdict that I don’t like does NOT give me the right to steal your truck or burn down your business. Someone doing something bad against someone of my race does Not give me permission to commit Violence.

Verse 32 Who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also APPROVE of those who practice them.

Mercy is so important and yes we need to love everybody but I cannot and will not excuse the sin. If you are living in sin and die in your sins Hell will be your home.
If you’re making excuses for the sinner. If we keep allowing the abominations to become the normal. If we continue to support the very things that the only true Moral Giver said is wrong. We also can find our home in Hell.

Joe, your being awfully rough. What about the Love?

I do have love for everyone. I love you enough to say that your sin will kill you and I want you to have eternal life. I love you enough to say, you do not have to give in to the sin you are living in, you can be delivered. The greatest thing about Jesus is he has mercy and grace in that he can and will deliver us from the sin that has taken control of our lives.

Freedom is to not be involved in the evil things. You are a slave to the sin. Freedom is in Jesus Christ that delivers us from the bondage of sin. Jesus wants nothing more then to accept you into the family of God. But not the sin.

I am not in bondage In Christ but have freedom to live for him. I still do all I want to do. I just love Jesus and mankind enough to not want to do evil against them. Rather, to love you enough to tell you the Truth.

Be not Partakers of sin, but be ye Delivered!

My Nightmare would be, to stand on that judgment day in front of my friend or neighbor or family member, and have them say to Jesus “Joe never told me, I didn’t know. Why would you not tell me Joe. You Said You Loved Me”.
